Trio of FTL members give talk at Bank of America

It took a while to organise a date but this September Gill, David and myself went to Bank of America in The City to speak about Families Together London and ofcourse, as we always do, tell our own stories about having LGBT+ children.

Li Guanpeng organised the event and he is part of the network for employees who are or who have LGBT+ children.  The London office of Bank of America is vast and if we hadn’t been guided to the room where we gave the talk, I think we would still be wandering around!

In the world of the internet I think the participants found it refreshing to just hear us talk without a slide show or flip chart and the Q and A session brought up some very personal worries which I hope we managed to smooth over a bit.

It went very well and hopefully in due course we will be invited back for another session.
The three of us left with t-shirts and magnets which identify and celebrate everybody in the LGBT+ community.
