Henry Hudson of People Change Minds at FTL
We were delighted to welcome Henry Hudson on the 23rd April to Battersea, and how wonderful that this took place in person and not on Zoom.
Henry is an LGBTQ+ Inclusion Speaker and Trainer at People Change Minds. He works with teachers and pupils in secondary schools to create an inclusive environment.
After we had filled our plates, we sat down in a big circle and listened attentively to Henry and then we had loads of questions to ask him about his organisation and how he hopes to move it forward, especially into primary schools which we all agreed was where appropriate education was needed on this subject.
He also spoke movingly of his ‘coming out’ when he was a boy and how supported he felt within his family. We at FTL consider that to be the primary asset we can give our children when they open up and tell their family that they are LGBT.
